Good sound is worth protecting

A single concert or festival set can expose you to 100–110 dB, well past the level where hearing damage and tinnitus begin. That ringing in your ears after a gig is not just part of the night; it is your hearing telling you it took damage. And because the harm is cumulative and irreversible, protection matters every time you step into the sound.

Instead of exposing your ears to harmful noise, Happy Ears help protect your hearing while preserving the sound you came for. The volume is reduced evenly across frequencies, so the music stays clear, balanced and more natural. In other words, you are not shutting the experience out; you are making it easier to hear, feel and enjoy without pushing your ears past their limit.

Designed and made in Sweden since 2010, Happy Ears are discreet enough to forget you are wearing them and reusable for hundreds of listening moments. Start with a Discovery Pack to find your size.

How concert earplugs protect your hearing

How loud it is matters. So does how long you stay in it. Concerts and festivals can reach 100–110 dB, and at that level, hearing damage can begin within minutes.

Earplugs lower the sound level that reaches your ear. That protection is measured in decibels and CE-certified under EN 352. You may also see ratings like SNR in Europe and NRR in the US. For live music, 25 dB SNR is a good level for most people: enough protection to give you safer hours instead of risky minutes.

But protection should not ruin the sound. Happy Ears reduce volume evenly across frequencies, meaning the sound entering your ear stays more natural. Vocals, instruments and detail stay clearer, instead of getting muffled like they often do with foam earplugs.

They are also reusable, which means you get a more consistent fit through a full festival weekend. Foam earplugs tend to lose their shape and performance after a single night.

Concert & music earplugs

We designed one earplug to move through everyday life

Happy Ears was built around a simple idea: one well-designed earplug should be able to work across many parts of life. Made in three sizes for a better fit, it moves easily between sleeping, traveling, working, performing, creating or finding focus, without asking you to switch product every time the soundscape changes.

That is why we often think of Happy Ears as the Swiss Army knife of earplugs: one small object with many uses, designed to make hearing protection feel simpler, more natural and easier to bring with you.
