Find your fit — three sizes, one shape

Most earplugs come in one size and rely on being pushed in hard. Happy Ears come in Small, Medium and Large, in a shape that rests in the ear rather than sealing it shut — so they stay comfortable through a full night and a full day.

Not sure which size you are? A Discovery Pack has all three, with a money-back guarantee. Most people are surprised by which one turns out to be theirs.

Earplugs for every situation

One shape, three sizes, and 25 dB of even, natural-sounding protection. The same earplug works for a night’s sleep, a loud gig, an open-plan office and a swim — you just choose the size that fits you.

How Happy Ears work

Happy Ears take 25 dB off the noise around you, evenly across the frequency range. That matters: cheap foam plugs cut the high frequencies hardest, which is why they make voices sound muffled and underwater. An even reduction just turns the volume down — you can still follow a conversation, hear an alarm, catch your name across the room.

They are CE-certified, washable, and made to be used for years rather than thrown away after a night. Made in Sweden since 2010.

Questions we get asked

Which size should I choose?

Most people are not the size they expect. A Discovery Pack contains Small, Medium and Large so you can try all three, and it is covered by our money-back guarantee. If you already know you have narrow ear canals, start with Small.

Can I sleep on my side with them in?

Yes. Happy Ears sit flush with the ear rather than protruding, which is why they are usually recommended for side sleepers. There is no stem pressing into the pillow.

Will I still hear my alarm?

Yes. Happy Ears reduce noise evenly by about 25 dB rather than blocking it, so an alarm, a doorbell or a child calling still comes through — just quieter.

How do I clean them?

Warm water and a little mild soap, then let them air dry. No alcohol and no dishwasher. Clean them roughly once a week with regular use.

How long do they last?

With normal use and regular cleaning, a pair lasts around a year. They are made to be reused rather than thrown away after a night, which is the whole point of them.
