Hear the road

At highway speed, wind buffeting inside a helmet can exceed 100 dB, louder than a chainsaw. It may not feel that loud because the noise is constant, but the wind dose adds up: a 20-minute commute, an all-day tour or a long motorway ride can expose your ears for far longer than you think. Hearing damage depends on how loud and how long, and sustained wind noise above 100 dB can cause damage within minutes. Over years of riding, that steady roar can lead to permanent hearing loss and tinnitus, often before many riders notice what is happening. Earplugs lower the level reaching your ear, measured in decibels and CE-certified under EN 352, helping turn a damaging dose into a safer, more comfortable one.

Made to ride safe

Protect your hearing

Reduce harmful wind and engine noise by 25-27 dB while still staying connected to the road around you.

Arrive less tired

Less noise fatigue means a more comfortable ride, whether you are commuting, touring or just taking the long way home.

Hear the road

Good earplugs do not block out the world completely; they filter sound so traffic, signals and surroundings remain easier to read.

For better rest once you arrive

Unwind at the hotel, sleep better and reset after a full day on the road.

How earplugs protect a rider's hearing

You will see SNR in Europe and NRR in the US. For most riding, 25 dB SNR is plenty; choose 27 dB for long motorway tours or a loud, buffeting helmet. The key is even attenuation. Happy Ears reduce harmful wind and road noise without cutting you off from what matters, so your engine, indicators, horns, sirens and sat-nav stay audible. Insert them before your helmet goes on; the soft, low-profile shape sits flush and stays comfortable under a full-face helmet for hours. Reusable and washable, they outlast a glovebox full of foam and are made to be used ride after ride, helping you stay protected, focused and aware on the road.

We designed one earplug to move through everyday life

Happy Ears was built around a simple idea: one well-designed earplug should be able to work across many parts of life. Made in three sizes for a better fit, it moves easily between sleeping, traveling, working, performing, creating or finding focus, without asking you to switch product every time the soundscape changes.

That is why we often think of Happy Ears as the Swiss Army knife of earplugs: one small object with many uses, designed to make hearing protection feel simpler, more natural and easier to bring with you.
