Happy Ears Eco-Friendly Earplugs

Happy Ears exists because more than 1Bil single use earplugs are used and thrown away every year. Since our inception, in 2010, our focus has been to simply offer consumers a high quality reusable alternative to the “traditional” earplug. After selling more than 1mil packages of Happy Ears Original we turned our efforts, in 2018, to creating the first eco-friendly earplugs…

Happy Ears Recycled Earplugs – In 2020 Happy Ears broke away from its Original earplug to launch Happy Ears Recycled, our first sustainable earplug. This earplug is made of 100% recycled plastics upcycled from our own production waste to further reduce Happy Ears environmental footprint. Like Happy Ears Original, our Recycled earplugs reduce volume 25 dB and are best suited for concerts, motorcycling, in office use and for general noise sensitivity when one needs to reduce stress.

Happy Ears Ocean Plastics Earplugs – In 2021 we launched Happy Ears OP, our newest eco-friendly earplug made of post consumer ocean plastics. Another industry first! Sourced from the North Pacific and North Atlantic oceans, Happy Ears OP offer the exact same fit and functionality as our Original earplug. Sourced from the North Atlantic ocean, Happy Ears OP are CE Certified to reduce volume 27 dB and are best suited for sleeping, swimming and/or when travelling.

Per the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), less than 60% of “recyclable” packaging is actually recyclable. Knowing this, we couldn’t package sustainable earplugs in packaging that was nothing less. Today, our new packaging is not only recyclable, but compostable and biodegradable. It’s a game changer…It’s truly eco and our customers are LOVING it!
